RESIGNATION FROM OBTAINING CREDIT

In accordance with the Rules and Regulations of Study at the University of Warsaw (Article 32 s.2), the student shall have a right to resign from attending a course only if its dates, the person running the classes or principles for getting credits have been changed. Within 14 days of such change the student shall submit an application with a request to unregister from a course in USOSweb and notify the SWFiS Student’s Section personally, by phone or by e-mail.

In accordance with the Rules and Regulations of Study at the University of Warsaw (Article 32 s.3), the student shall have a right to resign from obtaining credit for a course before the date indicated in the organisation of the academic year as the course credit resignation deadline for a given semester.

Students shall report the resignation in USOSweb on their own (My Studies → Linkage → Resign).

Students of first and second cycle studies have the right to resign from obtaining credit once. Students of long second-cycle studies shall be entitled to exercise this right twice.

In the case of resignation from obtaining credit, tokens are not given back to student’s account, and potential payments are not cancelled.

A course from which the student resigned is not taken into account in the settlement of programme requirements. Grade field remains blank at the end of semester.
